TemplateCloud teams up with Silicon Publishing in the USA

TemplateCloud’s parent company, Grafenia PLC, has collaborated with Silicon Publishing Inc to release Cloud Designer, a low-cost, high-feature, Cloud-based solution for premium-quality online print creation.

TemplateCloud API Global Launch

We’re excited to announce the launch of the TemplateCloud API in 12 countries and 9 languages. The TemplateCloud API allows online print shops and entrepreneurs like you to add thousands of designer templates to your existing website. You choose which designs to sell from a range of print items like business cards, flyers and postcards. By embedding our advanced editor into your site, your client can personalise the design, upload photos or browse 14 million free images. When your client checks out, we make a print-ready PDF automatically for you to print on your own presses or send to a supplier.

It’s easy to integrate and low-cost, packages start from £695 up front and £99 a month.

All TemplateCloud designs are crowd-sourced from our community of real designers. Designers use Adobe InDesign to build their template – no plugins required. They upload their finished file to TemplateCloud.com and our automatic process converts their design into an online editable template in minutes. Designs that sell best have industry-specific marketing copy and striking images, so we encourage designers to invest time in each piece.

Each time their design is sold, we pay the designer a royalty – even if we translate it into a different language. Some of our top designers have already earned more than £5,000.

To date, TemplateCloud offers 10,000 templates and counting, giving your client unrivalled creative choice. The belief is simple: by providing lots of options, coupled with easy editing, the likelihood that visitors to your website will find a design that is right for their business is greatly increased, and that means more print jobs for you.

We’re now accepting submissions from designers in the United Kingdom, Republic Of Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia and the USA. Boost your royalties in March!

Easter may fall in March this year, but don’t forget about the other important events happening that month – Mothers’ Day and St Patrick’s Day! These are great occasions for businesses to do special promotions, so prepare some designs and give your royalty earning a boost.

Mothers’ Day: think florists creating special bouquets, pubs and restaurants offering Mothers’ Day set menus, and cake shops making personalised designs.

St Patrick’s Day: this is one of the biggest days of the year for Irish pubs, who will no doubt be doing special promotions on Irish food and drink.

Get your Easter designs ready!

Easter is coming early this year, so now is a good time to start thinking about what sorts of designs businesses will be looking for. Below are a few ideas to get your started.

Holiday parks and campsites – summer is still a long way off, so many people will want to take advantage of the long Easter weekend, or school holidays. And with the weather (hopefully) starting to improve, a short break in the UK is the ideal solution.

Activities for kids – school holidays mean kids need entertaining! Leisure centres offer activity days, such as sports, art and craft classes, and drama.

Easter egg hunts – the classic Easter activity, usually held outdoors in open recreational areas.

Spring menus – restaurants will be refreshing their menus to take advantage of the new food coming into season, and offering special Easter day menus.
